San Miguel de Salinas is a traditional Spanish village on the Costa Blanca South with a population of 6,000. The nearest airports to San Miguel de Salinas are Alicante airport, fifty minutes away, and Murcia airport, thirty minutes away.

The nearest busy seaside resorts include Torrevieja, Playa Flamenca and La Zenia, less than ten minutes away by car. In La zenia, by the way, you also have a large open-air shopping center. Torrevieja is also home to the two water parks of Aquopolis and Aqua Park Flamingo.

The Laguna Salada Torrevieja (salt lake) is ideal for hiking expeditions and bird watching is less than a five-minute drive away. San Miguel de Las Salinas has a very central location making day trips to the cities of Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena very popular.
