As an administrative force, Maria ensures the smooth running behind the scenes at Heerlijk Spanje. The saying "behind every great man, a strong woman" is the perfect phrasing here.

Although she usually accompanies Jan on house hunts, much of her strength lies in her talent for order and administration. Her down-to-earth and goal-oriented approach is therefore an important addition to the team. With many past construction experiences, Maria not only advises buyers on the layout of their vacation home.... As a listening ear, her casual advice and ideas help clients choose and make the right decision with attention to the client's personal view of the ideal Spanish lifestyle. All this without losing sight of the practical side.

In her free time, she enjoys simple pleasures such as hiking with our mascot Flynn, biking, taking sidewalk cafes, reading and doing puzzles during the "winter." The beautiful country, combined with a good balance between work and leisure, makes her never want to leave Spain.

In short, Maria plays an important role within Heerlijk Spanje, not only because of her own experiences, but also as a pillar of support alongside Jan.

The digital jack-of-all-trades at Heerlijk Spanje! With his background as a former account manager in online marketing, he is known for his smooth talk and talent for engaging customers. He is the force behind our online presence and does so with an unmistakable Spanish schwung!

From writing blogs about local attractions to creating rental calendars and putting together inspiration guides for our rental clients, Niels makes sure that both ourselves, buyers ánd home sellers shine online in a realistic way that attracts attention like a Spanish sunset. And when the opportunity arises, he even jumps in the car to go on an adventure with clients!

Although he doesn't play the game as often as he used to, Niels still loves soccer in his spare time. In addition, the positive influence of Spain made him a 42k marathon finisher and his long Asia trip in 2022 is still something he enthusiastically talks about.

Niels brings not only digital magic to our team, but also a good dose of adventure and passion for Spanish life!

Although he loves a brisk walk, he also has a stubborn side. When we are almost home and he has had enough, you better not try to take an extra stroll :). Once home, he is an expert at embracing the concept of "Siesta."

Flynn is not only a team player, he is also the ultimate customer magnet. He loves going on the road with you and making sure that every meeting with customers is a paw-full of fun. Want to surprise him? You do so with his favorite snack: chicken. In short, Flynn is the ultimate teammate. It's no wonder everyone loves him!
